My journey into trichology began with a very personal experience. When my daughter, at just two years old, suffered from hair loss, my focus shifted dramatically. I moved from simply styling hair to dedicating my efforts to restoring it. This pivotal moment ignited my passion to raise awareness in the community about how hair truly reflects your overall health. I discovered how vital it is to identify conditions like PMOS (formerly known as PCOS) and thyroid conditions such as Hashimotos in teens which often go undiagnosed.

My ultimate driving force is to restore confidence and joy! While utilizing the Gateway Trichology Initiative to navigate through the barriers between health and hair loss to reveal the root cause of hair loss and scalp disorders.

Our primary goal at Impact Community Health & Wellness Coalition is to revolutionize how communities access preventive healthcare. We aim to achieve this by meeting people where they are and connecting them to life-changing health resources, preventing conditions from escalating into crises. We firmly believe that early conversations lead to earlier intervention, better health outcomes, and stronger, more resilient communities. Through the signature Gateway Trichology Initiative™, we innovatively use hair and scalp health as an entry point to educate, promote preventive care, encourage early detection, and link individuals with appropriate healthcare providers and community resources. Our vision extends far beyond hair; we are building a collaborative network of hospitals, healthcare professionals, pharmaceutical companies, educational institutions, faith-based organizations, community leaders, and corporate partners. Together, we work to reduce health disparities and expand access to preventive healthcare in underserved areas, fostering a healthier future for all.
